Easter Pictures

Here's a couple of our Easter pictures.  This year's favorite eggs.  Not too elaborate this year since Cody was coloring eggs too.  Our main goal was to make sure the dye didn't get spilled.

We made strawberry carrots.

Yay!  All four kids participated in the egg hunt.  I know Kyle will be too old soon, but he had fun this year.  Maybe he will hide them next year.

Yes, we had still had snow, but it was spring-like in the air.  Although the next morning we woke up to more snow covering the ground.  But, that's Easter in New England.

Easter Weekend!

We had a glorious Easter weekend celebrating our risen Savior! So thankful for all the blessings. The weather was about perfect, especially for New England. Saturday we rearranged Kyle's bedroom, visited the raptors and owls, had icecream, played in the sprinkler, and got ready for Easter morning.

Easter morning we took a walk right after sunrise and listened to the birds announce the Resurrection Morning. We worshipped and sang praises at church! He is risen! He is risen indeed!

We came home and decorated eggs and had an egg hunt. Kyle drove all of us to the railtrail for a walk beside the river - did you catch that - Kyle drove us. There were even wildflowers blooming along the trail - in early April, in New England - amazing.  Brad grilled salmon for us all, and we had strawberry shortcake for dessert.  Very good.  I think we will keep celebrating Easter for a while.

Eggs:  Brad made the eyeball; Kyle made the VT and Mt. Dew & Sprite; Mara made the grapes, rainbow, and face; Lila made the strawberry and Lila egg; I made the world (yes, that's N & S America) and the cross egg.
