Tea Tuesday - National Hot Tea Month
Tea, tea, tea. It is like a bubble bath for me. Relaxing in some of the chaos of life.
And it's National Hot Tea Month! Yay!
Here's some fun ways to enjoy your tea this month:
1. Try loose leaf tea if you haven't before. It's so much more flavorful. A couple of my favorites are Tea Spot's Bolder Breakfast, Tealightful Teas Coconut Almond Crème Cake, and Tea Table Chocolate Mint.
2. Make your oatmeal with tea. A nice way to flavor your oatmeal.
3. Make your hot chocolate with tea. Peppermint or Spearmint are nice.
4. Make your rice with tea.
5. Take a bath with tea. Green tea is great for your skin.
There are more ideas on my Pinterest Tea Board too.

Tea Popsicles!
As summer and warm weather approaches, I am looking for yummy summer treats. My kids love popsicles. This summer I am planning on using Tealightful Teas and the wonderful flavors to make healthy and delicious popsicles. Some of the flavors I am trying first are: Summer Berries (my daughter also made a delicious smoothie with this tea). Moroccan Mint, Big Apple Green, and Passion Fruit Lemonade!

Mara's Mystery Party and Brunch
Mara's most recent party was a Mystery Party for the family. She contrived a whole story of a party gone awry when someone at the cake for the party. She made clues all around the house. She used cards from the game Guess Who as characters for her story. She wrote bios that she read to us that included clues to follow to determine Who Ate the Cake! She even had a sound track to listen to with clues on it.
So, when our family came home from an outing (we thought we were coming to some kind of party), Mara informed us all that we had a mystery to solve.
It was so much fun! She did a great job with her story and plans. And her party included decorations (crime tape around the table where the cake disappeared) and yummy food to eat.
I am so thankful for these family memories that Mara is making for us.
This last weekend she also made a Spring Brunch for us - making us homemade bagels, oatmeal muffins and Summer Berry Smoothies (with our Tealightful Tea, Summer Berries).

Tealighful Teas!
I love tea so much I have decided to make it my business. I signed up as an independent consultant with Tealightful Teas, Inc. I am so excited! I will be learning more about all the wonderful aspects of tea and trying new kinds of tea. I will have tea tastings with friends. And I hope to share it all here at Sara's Tea Time. Maybe we can share a cup of tea together. Please look at the catalog and company blog or just look at my website.
Which teas sound good to you? Which ones would you like to try?
Comment here or shop on my website for a chance to win a tea sample of your choice. Winner will be announced April 15th.
I also have a Facebook Page that you can follow for specials, tea tips, and recipes.
