2. Books for Africa - "A simple name for an organization with a simple mission." They collect, sort, ship, and distribute books to children in Africa.

Great resources! When I was a school librarian at a school that had a very high percentage of kids living below the poverty line, I was able to write a grant to get several free books for each child from RIF. One of the kids told me that it was the first book that he owned. :)
